Newsletter-October 2015

Hello everyone and welcome to the second edition of my new company newsletter. The idea of a regular newsletter is to keep you informed with all the latest goings on and any exciting news within one of Sandhurst’s most established providers of personal training. Here is the first of many, I hope you find it a good read. Enjoy!

It has been a busy month here at HQ. I have finally run my first group personal training session for the junior class at Yateley dance school KJ Theatre Arts and what great fun it was too! All the students put in a fantastic effort in the all body strength circuit I designed for them. Following on from the main session, I delivered a 10 minute talk on nutrition. A topic that young people, especially young athletes need to understand. My best moment of the morning I spent with the KJ Theatre Arts students was during their lunch break, a few of them began hiding their sweets from their lunchboxes but then eating them when I wasn’t looking! Good fun and great to see each of them with a smile on their face after my first session with them. I am scheduled to return for two more sessions this year, I can’t wait! For more information on KJ Theatre Arts (and for the pictures of my session with them too), check out their Facebook page (KJ Theatre Arts.)

Boot Camp

Boot Camp is growing stronger than ever before. We are only a few weeks away from our 2nd birthday. While I am on this topic, I would like t0 say a massive thank you to client Jo Matthews, Jo, our longest serving member has been with us since the very first session, so a big thank you to Jo for her fantastic commitment. boot camp

In other Boot Camp news, last Saturday we had another group get together. The evening started with a delicious Indian at the Raj Tandori in College Town, followed by a few quiet drinks at The Wellington Arms Pub, Sandhurst. Despite quite a few members of the group missing due to other commitments, it was brilliant to get some of the newcomers socialising with some of our long term members away from training. Our next group social event is our Christmas party in December, Pictures and stories to follow!Boot Camp night out

Community Events

Since my last newsletter I have hosted another community rounder’s game. Another good turn out with everyone enjoying good weather, good company and good fun on a Sunday afternoon. These events will continue so if you missed this one, don’t panic, the next date will be announced soon. The idea of these events are to start get the people of Sandhurst active, having fun as well as introducing them to others in our friendly community.

Personal Training

On the personal training side of things, I have been busy each and everyday working with my awesome clients. Some fantastic results being achieved. To each and every one of you, keep it up!

That’s all there is to report for this month, there is much more coming up so stay tuned for more exciting news and updates in the next newsletter.

Until next time, train smart, eat clean and have fun!

Best wishes,
