Protein is an essential macronutrient in any diet. It is the building blocks of what we are. There are many reasons as to why we need to eat protein, here are few.

2: Protein helps you to feel full for longer as it takes longer for your body to digest.

3: Protein helps to support healthy skin, teeth and nails.

Food sources Include, eggs, fish, meat, nuts, green vegetables, seeds, yoghurt and cheese to name a few.

How much protien should you eat everyday? A basic guideline is 46 grams per day for females and 56 grams per day for males. These numbers will vary If you exercise on a regular basis as you will require more, but just ensure you are hitting the basic targets first.
